GDA Electrical Wholesaler started with a simple promise: never leave a local electrician without the gear they need to get the job done. Nine years later, we've grown from one van and a small warehouse to three warehouses, four delivery vans, and thousands of products – but our promise hasn't changed.
THE GDA STORY
Founded in 2016, GDA began as a locally rooted electrical supplier with a big vision: to combine trade-grade products with personal, community-focused service. While national chains focus on scale and automation, we built our business on relationships, expert knowledge, and genuine customer care.
Our recent affiliation with AWEBB buying group has contributed to our continual growth and has given us the opportunity to compete as a national wholesaler with a local spirit.

GERALD SYLVESTER
DIRECTOR
Gerald has been in the Electrical Wholesaler Industry for over 35 years. 20 years of those were with Edmundson’s Electrical and then 15 years as a manager. He loves the outdoors and spends much time with his 2 dogs or cycling as often as he can. For his sins he has an Arsenal season ticket!!
ANDY BETTS
SERVICE MANAGER
Andy is a fully qualified sparky who spent many years contracting before downing tools and heading into an office role. Putting his electrical experience to good practice he worked as a product specialist for a well-known Italian manufacturer. Along the way he’s gained valuable skills which enable him to work efficiently in the Electrical wholesale industry. Outside of work Andy enjoys playing and watching football and spending family time on their speedboat on the Costa Del Stewartby.
DAVID WILKERSON
SALES MANAGER
David has been in the electrical wholesale industry since leaving school. Working his way up from stock controller through to sales and management along the way seeing many remarkable changes in the industry. David is a keen DIYer and classic car enthusiast who can be found on sunny days cruising on the Grand Union Canal in his narrow boat.
CHRIS BONIFACE
SALES MANAGER
Chris has been in the wholesale industry for 15 years, working his way from delivery driver to Sales Manager. Chris is our lighting guru and loves dealing with the most obscure requests. When he’s not revising part numbers, he likes to spend his time sitting by the side of a lake imagining what it's like to catch a fish. He’s also into table tennis and has been playing since he was 12, he can’t wait to win his 1st game!
CHRIS MARTIN
WAREHOUSE MANAGER
Chris is the systematic cog of the business as he ensures everything is picked correctly and sent out in an efficient manner while maintaining an immaculate warehouse. Apparently he has a similar sort of approach when he is out on the golf course. Outside of work and golf Chris finds time for more golf…and spending time with his family. Chris is a keen supporter of Liverpool FC and he likes to remind people of their success far too often.

RICHARD SMITH
INTERNAL SALES
Richard has been in the electrical wholesale trade since leaving school at the ripe old age of 16. He started his wholesale career as the warehouse sweeper boy and has moved up the ranks from there. A self proclaimed "geek" Richard can usually be found playing video games, painting Warhammer 40k models or even sometimes running the odd D&D game - when he isn’t hiding down the pub!

SAM SMITH
DELIVERY DRIVER
Sam is our ginger, very handsome van driver. When he’s not at work Sam enjoys spending his time socialising with friends and attempting to stay fit. He’s always seen to give 110% in his friendly approach and happy go lucky attitude.
GARETH LLEWELLYN
DELIVERY DRIVER
Gareth is our Friendly and incredibly chatty, van driver (for those who have received a delivery from him will already know everything about him) but in short he is a huge Norwich City football fan who also enjoys watching Rugby. Gareth believes he has the best of both worlds as he flits between supporting Wales and England depending on who is performing better. He also sees himself as a bit of a petrolhead and a family man at the weekends.
